Step 1 : Accounts setup
In this step, we will systematically set up a Tuta email account, use it to register a new X (Twitter) account, and then create a Twitter Developer Application on the X Developer Portal. These accounts are crucial for upcoming steps, as they will grant access to various API functionalities. Be sure to securely store your credentials, as they will be required later in the process. 🚀
1. Creating a Tuta Email Account​
To set up a new email account with Tuta, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit Tuta's Signup Page​

Step 2: Register a New Account​
- Click on “Sign Up” to create a new account.
- Choose a unique username and a strong password.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the registration process.
Step 3: Secure Your Credentials​
- Save your Tuta email address and password securely.
- You will need these credentials in the next steps.
2. Creating an X (Twitter) Account​
Once you have set up your Tuta email account, proceed to create an X (Twitter) account using that email.
Step 1: Visit X (Twitter) Signup Page​
Step 2: Register a New Account​
- Click on “Sign Up” and enter the following details:
- Name (Can be your real or chosen display name)
- Email Address (Use the newly created Tuta email)
- Password (Choose a secure password)
- Follow the on-screen instructions to verify your email and complete the registration.
3. Creating a Developer App on the X Developer Portal​
To access Twitter’s API, you must create a Developer App on the X Developer Portal. Follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the X Developer Portal​

Step 2: Apply for a Developer Account​
- Click “Sign Up” or “Log In” using your X account.
- You may be required to apply for a Developer Account before creating an app.
- Fill in the required details about how you plan to use the API.
- Submit your application and wait for approval (this can take some time).
Step 3: Create a New App​
- Once approved, go to “Projects & Apps” > “Overview” and click “Create an App”.
- Enter a name for your app (e.g.,
TwitterAgentApp). - Set up the necessary permissions based on your requirements (Read, Write, DM Access).
4. Save Your Credentials​
